February is such a weird month. I feel bad for it sometimes. Does anyone look forward to February? I live in the midwest and I can tell you February is GREY! The sky, the climate, the trees, the earth and the feeling is grey. There is no hint of spring yet. There is only cold and a chill in the air that hits you all the way deep inside your soul.
How do you get through February? I don’t know. It’s glum. And sad. And lonely.
March, March will be better! I just know it. The sun will shine more often which will naturally lift the spirits. The temperatures will increase. A warmer day here and there will lead to walking the puppy and feeling the cool air on my face. Maybe a little windburn that will brighten my cheeks. Yes, March will be better.
Is February here to make us cherish March? Do we have to know the grey skies of February to truly appreciate the sunshine that is ahead of us? Yes, yes, I think so. I think that is exactly why February is here!
Goodbye February! I’m sorry you’re so lonely and sad and grey! Hello March. Let’s see the sunshine please! Let’s feel the flowers budding and hear the birds chirping.
Spring is a rebirth of the earth and the soul. I can feel it on the horizon.
