I am moving mountains! Or at least that’s what it feels like. In August I started a Crossfit Challenge. I wrote about it a few weeks ago in my “I’m not Zen Enough” piece. I was so excited that I had found something I was loving. And I was getting over the fact that I am not Zen enough for yoga!
Well, my progress has been great! I am feeling better every day. These workouts are challenging, but I am moving the needle, lifting the weights and lifting my spirits! It’s not all just in the workout. My diet has been extremely clean. Eating a lot of protein, minimal fat and a small amount of carbs. I feel more energy and my brain definitely feels like a fog has lifted!
The people I have met along the way are amazing. I go three to four times per week. My morning crew is absolutely amazing! My morning begins with me conquering my fears and pushing myself to new limits every day! Today I did a full 4 rounds of the WOD (Workout of the Day). I pushed hard to finish my last lap and it felt amazing!
They say “find a workout you love and it won’t be a workout”. It’s so true! I look forward to it! If you’ve ever been wanting to try Crossfit but fear has been holding you back, this is your nudge! Jump in! You won’t regret it! Just do it!
